Rally Information

Organised in partnership with South Norfolk PC, North Norfolk PC and West Norfolk PC – this rally is open to all Senior PC members in NNPC, WNPC and NNPC who are competing at Novice (90cm) eventing and above.  Fantastic opportunity for Area 8 Pony Club members to train with International Event rider Harry Meade in Norfolk. Harry is one of the most stylish and British! Riders competing on the circuit, has completed Badminton 9 times, was part of the silver medal team at the last World Championships and has been part of the GB World Class Squad for the past 7 years. Cost: £45.

Winter Dressage League 2017/18 – Rules and Conditions of Entry – Note extra rules for Dengie qualifiers

  1. To be run under Pony Club rules for dressage 2017 for PC tests and BD rules for other classes.
  2. Entries to be received Monday before competition. Late entries only if places available at £2 extra charge.
  3. Rosettes to 6th place and rosette to highest placed PC member in each class. Points will be awarded to 6th place plus 1 extra point for competing. Trophies to winner in class 1, 2, 3 & 4 combined, 5, 6 & 7 combined, 8 & 9 combined, to be awarded at end of Winter League. Combination must attend 3 shows to qualify.
  4. Please respect Wallington Hall- NO DOGS, NO MUCK TO BE LEFT ON FIELDS
  5. Times- on Friday before competition, please telephone 01485 600294 between 7pm and 9.00pm.
  6. Neither the Organisers nor the persons acting on behalf accept liability for any loss, damage, accident, injury or illness to competitors, spectators or any person or property whatsoever. The Organisers of this event have taken reasonable precautions to insure the health and safety of everyone present. For these measures to be effective everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring and must obey the instructions of the Organisers and all the Officials and Stewards.
  7. The Organisers reserve the right to cancel or alter any class. Classes may run in a different order to that stated on schedule.
  8. Proceeds to be split evenly between West Norfolk Hunt Pony Club and West Norfolk Riding for the Disabled.

WNPC Inter-Branch Team Friendly Show Jumping Competition @ Blackwater Farm

The WNPC invite branches in Area 8 (and Area 6) to send Novice/junior/mini teams and individuals to this event. It has been a great start to the season over the past couple of years for our Novice and younger members and for 2018 we are going to have single phase for the 70, 80 & 90cm to help get through the classes in good time.

  1. All classes will be judged under the Pony Club Show Jumping Rules 2016
  2. Branch Teams to consist of three or four Competitors who must be fully paid up members of the branch or centre.
  3. Rider and horse/pony combinations may not enter the same class in two teams or twice in the same team & neither may the pony/horse.
  1. Teams will be able to jump 2 rounds (even if eliminated in the first round) and riders in each jump in succession in both rounds.
  2. The total of the best three scores to count in each round. That total is carried forward to the second round. The highest score is discarded in each round and may or may not be the scores of the same competitor.
  3. The second round will be timed and may be over a shortened, amended and higher course
  4. Placings are decided on final faults and in the event of equality, the total lowest times of the best 3 rounds in those teams will decide the placing
  5. All competitors who go clear in 1st round become eligible for individual placings, adding their score to their second round score
  6. Individuals will jump once all the teams have jumped.
  7. Individuals will jump second round in the same order as the first round.
  8. Individual rider and horse/pony combination may not also compete in the team.
  9. Save for the death or personal injury caused by the negligence of the organisers, or anyone for whom they are in law responsible, neither the organisers of this event or The Pony Club nor any agent, employee or representative of these bodies, nor the landlord or his tenant, accepts any liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, riders, spectators, land, cars, their contents and accessories, or any other personal property whatsoever, whether caused by their negligence, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. Entries are only accepted on this basis
  10. The organisers of this event have taken all reasonable precautions to ensure the health and safety of everyone present at this event. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents. They must obey the instructions of the organisers and all officials and stewards
  11. All non Pony Club competitors are not covered by The Pony Club insurance and must have their own third party cover. The West Norfolk Branch of The Pony Club and the organisers of this event are not legally responsible for non Members and their insurance will not cover you
  12. The judges’ decision is final.
  13. Rosettes will be awarded to 8th place.
